(ça y est, j’ai trouvé une info comme quoi le mot « wazoo » n’est pas un mignon équivalent de popotin) (dommage)

…Parce que c’est pas tout ça, mais samedi prochain, je signe des bouquins à Brie-Comte Robert (son univers impitoyaaaa-ableuh !… Ne cherchez pas, c’est un truc générationnel et qui me rajeunit vraiment pas) au 2e salon BD-Manga, organisé par la Médiathèque et les libraires de Brie-Comte-Robert.
Je vais en parler toute la semaine pour lutter contre ma bouletitude.
Et maintenant, je vais publier un dessin hors-sujet, parce que j’ai pas eu le temps.
(Oui, l’anti-bouletitude est un chemin semé d’embûches)

Let’s put some clothes on, because I have to go sign some books, next saturday, at Brie-Comte-Robert (that was used in a french parody of Dallas long ago, and I shouldn’t mention it because it doesn’t make me look younger) at the 2nd Comics & Mangas convention, organized by the multimedia library and the booksellers of BCR.

I will talk about it all week long, to fight my inaptitude to feed my « artist notoriety ».
 And here is a drawing that has nothing to do with the books I’m going to sign, because I didn’t have time to do one. Fighting inaptitude is a rocky road.

Avez-vous remarqué la formulation des titres de certains tableaux  ? « Jeune fille à la perle », « Nature morte à la chaise cannée », « Enfant à l’épée », « Femme à l’ombrelle », « Homme à la moto » (nan, je déconne)…
Alors, j’ai fait un « Popotin aux mains vertes », et allez savoir pourquoi, ça me réjouit.

Did you notice the way of naming some paintings  ? « Girl with a pearl earring », « Still life with chair caning », « boy with a sword », « Woman with a parasol »… In french, the formulation is a little more precious, slightly pompous, imho…

So I did a  » Wazoo with green hands », because it makes me happy for no particular reason. I don’t know if wazoo is the right translation for popotin, but both words sound cute and funny, so I decided it was.
But maybe wazoo is horribly obscene and rude… I’d like to know…
